Volume: 100 µg Purification: Immunogen affinity purified Form: liquid Purity: 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE Host: Rabbit Clonality: polyclonal Clone ID: Isotype: IgG Storage: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3,-20? for 12 months(Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles.) Background: Alpha2-HS glycoprotein (AHSG), a glycoprotein present in the serum, is synthesized by hepatocytes. The AHSG molecule consists of two polypeptide chains, which are both cleaved from a proprotein encoded from a single mRNA. It is involved in several functions, such as endocytosis, brain development and the formation of bone tissue. The protein is commonly present in the cortical plate of the immature cerebral cortex and bone marrow hemopoietic matrix, and it has therefore been postulated that it participates in the development of the tissues. However, its exact significance is still obscure. Immunogen: alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein Synonyms: A2HS, AHS, FETUA, HSGA Observed MW: 68 kDa Uniprot ID: P02765 Reactivity: Human Tested Application: ELISA, WB, IF Recommended dilution: WB: 1: 500 - 1: 2000; IF: 1: 50 - 1: 200 Gene ID: 197 Research Area: Cardiovascular, Metabolism, Developmental biology, Signal Transduction, Neuroscience, Immunology
